In 10th grade, I received a letter in the mail inviting me to apply for a program where I could earn a business associates degree while I was in high school. After I finished reading the letter I knew the opportunity to expand my knowledge of business was right in front of me, but I also knew if I got into the program it would be a big challenge. Well then, it’s a good thing I enjoy challenging myself. At the time taking 60 college credits while I was still considered a high school student seemed hard and almost impossible, but I gave it a shot anyway. Fast forward three years later to today and I am proud to say that I am a 19-year old senior majoring in finance at University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Using business skills and concepts I learned through the University’s curriculum, I founded a small fitness company called Exercise Network. While Exercise Network is still in its early stages, I am excited to lean into my entrepreneurial spirit and challenge myself beyond my academic achievements. As I transition into the world of work, I hope to work alongside other entrepreneurs to navigate the fast paced world of business and use my academic journey to grow and develop my career as a young entrepreneur.

When I am not emerged in the world of business you will most likely find me at a pool. I have been a competitive swimmer for 13 years. Through being a competitive swimmer I was given the opportunity to coach at a local swim team in Montgomery County. I also enjoy a good fitness challenge, and traveling to new places.
